Why 140 characters?

Our Mac tips are "twooshes" designed to be delivered using the popular Twitter service. Twitter has a 140 character limit, so our tips are 140 characters. It also makes the tips quick, concise, and easy to digest. Plus, it's just so darn cool to get great tips that are exactly 140 characters long.

What's a twoosh?

A "twoosh" is a Twitter message (tweet) that is EXACTLY 140 characters in length. All of our Mac tips are designed as twooshes.

Cool. How do I get your tips?

To receive tips from Mac Tips 140 you need to have a Twitter account. If you don't have one already ou can sign up here for free. After you have created your account simply follow @mactips140. Now each time a new Mac Tip 140 is posted it will be delivered right to your Twitter account.

How often will I get your tips?

We will try to send out at least one Mac tip "twoosh" per day, but depending on how many tips we can pull together we may send them out more frequently.

Great. Can I contribute a tip?

Absolutely, and we will even give you credit with a link back to your Twitter page. The only requirement is that your tip is exactly 140 characters. No more. No less. Once you have your Mac tip in "twoosh" format simply send it with your Twitter name to mactips140@gmail.com.
